Dr. Maimy Ta was born in Wichita Kansas but spent most of her life in San Diego, California where she loved going to the beach and playing outdoor soccer all year round – something she also loves about ...her new hometown of Seattle!
After serving 11 years in the United States Navy, she knew her purpose in life was to help people live up to their full potential. Initially, she intended to be a neurosurgeon but quickly found that the culture wasn't right for her, and that chiropractic care better aligned to her goals and her approach to helping patients.
In addition to multiple chiropractic specialties including active release techniques, neurology, geriatric wellness, pediatrics and sport injuries among others, Dr. Maimy is a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner who patients appreciate how easy it is to talk to her, and how attentively she listens to them, and that she is always fully present.
Dr. Maimy defines wellness as movement. “I always say, "movement is life". We feel pain or sustain non-trauma-related injurie due to weakness and dysfunction. Being active and building strength and mobility are essential to living at your fullest potential.”
Dr. Maimy maintained her wellness with the support of a small circle of friends that are dear to her and who help her grow personally and professionally. She maintains her own wellness by hiking with her partner and their dogs, playing soccer, and paddle boarding, and prizes her family above all else.
