Patients of Dr. Taylor will tell you he lives by his favorite Maya Angelou quote: "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." ...He strives to make them feel better. Growing up on a farm in Oakland Illinois taught him to take many tasks into his own hands — a habit which drove him to impressive educational and athletic heights. From a young age, Dr. Brett yearned to work in healthcare. After sustaining an injury during high school sports, he sought chiropractic treatment which allowed his body to heal faster, enabling him to swiftly return to sports and optimizing his perform on the court.
Wellness for Dr. Taylor means achieving your full potential — physically, emotionally and mentally. He maintains his own wellness by playing volleyball, showing cattle and spending time with family and friends. He's also dedicated to community service, volunteering at Sarah Bush Lincoln Medical Center, Habitat for Humanity, the St. Louis Arthritis Walk, the Multiple Sclerosis Mud Run and multiple St. Louis Children's Hospital fundraisers. Feeling blessed in so many ways, he enjoys providing time and service to those who are facing challenges.
Dr. Taylor is a proud member of American Chiropractic Association, American College of Sports Medicine and the International Association of Chiropractors. The International Association of Chiropractors (IAC) selected him Top Chiropractor of St. Louis, Missouri in 2014, and the renowned publication "The Leading Physicians of the World" also spotlighted his work and leadership.
After completing two bachelor's degrees in biological sciences from Eastern Illinois University, Dr. Taylor earned his master's degree in sports science and rehabilitation as well as Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University. Since graduating he has treated hundreds of patients applying his extensive training in sports rehabilitation and board certification in acupuncture.
