Dr. Jacob Minnick grew up in the small town of Willmar, Minnesota, where he loved the small town community feel - and being able to access a multitude of lakes nearby to fish, swim or just have fun.
He ...knew he wanted to become a chiropractor after spending his Junior and Senior years of high school working as a chiropractic assistant for his own chiropractor. He first sought chiropractic care as a high school track athlete. Chiropractic care not only helped him recover after races - it ultimately helped him perform better than ever, helping him make it into the state qualifying meet two years in a row. Working under his DC in that practice, he had the opportunity to see how chiropractic care helped a multitude of patients: from pediatric to geriatric. Witnessing people find relief from pain and feel great again inspired him to become a Chiropractor myself.
What patients appreciate most about Dr. Jacon is his willingness to listen and address each one of their concerns, as well as his dedication to trying different treatment approaches in order to help them achieve the best results.
Dr. Jacob defines wellness as the optimized state in which your body can perform your daily activities, hobbies and tasks whilst being pain and symptom free. He maintains his own wellness by resistance and weight training 3-5x a week, reading frequently, maintaining adequate hydration, adding supplements to his diet as needed, listening to podcasts, continuing his education, and spending time with his lovely fiancé.
