Welcome to Chiro One!

You’re officially on your way to pain relief!

Here’s What You Can Expect at Your First Two Visits

During your first appointment, your doctor and care team will learn about your health, lifestyle, and wellness goals, and perform a comprehensive examination to diagnose the root cause of your pain.

How to Prepare for Your First Appointment

  • To make your visit seamless and convenient, be sure to complete and print your new patient paperwork ahead of your first visit.
  • You’ll need your insurance card and your Driver’s License or state-issued ID.
  • We recommend you wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

After meeting your care team and reviewing your new patient paperwork, your doctor will discuss your pain, symptoms, mobility concerns, and personal wellness goals before performing a complete neuro-musculoskeletal examination that includes:

  • Posture evaluation to determine proper anatomical alignment, muscle symmetry, and identify any abnormalities.
  • Functional movement tests to evaluate any potential performance-limiting movement patterns.
  • Range of motion test to determine any limitations around joint movement.
  • Orthopedic tests to evaluate musculoskeletal impairment.
  • Neurological tests to check the function of your nervous system.
  • X-rays, if medically necessary, to diagnose conditions that may be the causes of musculoskeletal pain.

Typically scheduled within 1-2 days of your evaluation, your second appointment is your opportunity to review your diagnosis and personalized care plan with your doctor. Here’s what you’ll cover during this important 45-minute visit.

  • Review the findings of your evaluation. Your doctor will explain any abnormalities and how they connect to your pain symptoms and wellness goals. It’s a great time to ask questions and learn more about your health.
  • Receive your personalized care plan. Your doctor will create a care plan customized to your unique needs. Each personalized treatment plan at Chiro One includes both gentle chiropractic adjustments and active rehabilitative therapies. Many patients receive their first adjustment during this visit.
  • Review your available insurance benefits. Whether you have insurance or not, your Care Team will review the most cost-effective options for you to receive the care that you need.

The Chiro One Difference

Chiro One’s unique approach is designed to enhance patient outcomes and provide longer lasting results. Here’s how:

  • Gentle chiropractic adjustments improve joint motion and biomechanical function.
  • In-clinic, active therapies support the adjustment, help improve balance, flexibility and stability, correct and retrain posture, improve muscle strength and mobility to help prevent future injuries and promote long-term muscle memory for longer lasting relief from pain.

What are Wellness Goals?

Wellness goals involve deciding what you’d like to improve about your health and working with your doctor to create a plan to get there. Your wellness goals are unique to you and your lifestyle and could be as varied as:

  • Finding relief from pain so you can sit, stand, or sleep comfortably.
  • Getting back to the things you love, like running, hiking, and biking.
  • Regaining lost mobility and flexibility.
